Cutting down the labor and putting more gray matter in verbal section

When you gaze at BARRON's never ending word lists first time, one thing comes into your mind, "How am I going to learn them all and more importantly keep them alive in my mind," even if you are good in English. Essentially one should remember that he is not going to incorporate all those words into his active vocabulary( even if one wish for this article will surely help for that matter). So, lets kick off from scratch as a beginner- One who knows only 10% of Barron words.First and foremost download a free copy of some good dictionary/thesaurus; I recommend here WordWeb - a thesaurus with thousands of words and every word is explained nicely. Now we are set to move along with our verbal preparation. Here from we would follow a strict regime of putting 50 word lists into our mind. I will not ask you to learn 50 words or 60 words a day per se, instead learn less remember max strategy initially will better pay off . So how about learning 15 barron words and knowing about 40:)...isn't a good idea?, not digestible?. Well, then what about learning 50 words( when I say learning it means you understand the meaning...and can carry the words in your mind for couple of days at least) in just half hour or in few sentences? All this is possible with few tactics that not only help you build your vocabulary but makes you ravenously hungry for words. So now enough of advices lets get to work. First things in learning words is Grouping of similar words/ synonyms and formulate something related to those words which brings in a kind of confidence in you, for example:

fervid/impassioned/perfervid/torrid/ardent- characterised by strong emotions. Now one might say what's new in that, so lets have a look what is unique here.
your sister is a bitch...whoa..whoa..whoa,wait..don't get wrong impression. what's your state of mind when one say like this...Characterised by strong/intense emotions, isn't it?( remember we are here to learn words not to let somebody feel offended). So now we know the meaning, but how to remember these 5 words. Now when somebody says your sis a bit**... you would say something like this,"
you fuc*** vinod"( all vinods plz forgive me for using this name:))...this for keeping in mind fervid, with furious facial expression like daant pees rahe hoon( seems like Ardent...rite).Well...this seems a bit confusing initially confusing for you guys but once you learn words with some tactic ( like this example) you know words better actually. So you get 5 words fervid, perfervid, ardent, impassioned, and torrid( for torrid try yourself smthing:)...to propel your thoughts in such direction).
I will seek any suggestions or boos...whatever you feel like. plz post your comments.
