GRE Poetry

A self-molested, indecisive and confined life,
nebulously clustered hoard of thoughts and a gleaming prism like amorphous me
I am nowhere in the labyrinth,

iridescent blade of grass
evinces me a scattered photon of light on my pupil
I am untrue, it seems
and,
I am nowhere in the labyrinth.

unharmonious pampared souls orchestrating the dance of mystic
and calling me to an unknown sanguine smile
today perhaps the last day of my dilemma
tomorrow I may get a way
but now,
I am nowhere in the labyrinth

Very creative!

I love this style personally as well, and I find it very helpful. Often, when I'm studying vocabulary words, I pick out a few that I think would make a good poem, or that seems to fit a certain theme that I would enjoy myself, and then I write a poem on it. I did this with two of my poems -- one is called "The Apogee of My Being" and another is called "On the Periphery of Eruption."

They may be read on my blog at http://qrratugai.blogspot.com/2010/03/apogee-of-my-being.html and http://qrratugai.blogspot.com/2010/10/on-periphery-of-eruption.html.

I recommend it for everyone else who enjoys writing poetry. It works like magic.

Thanks for a great blog!
